The essence of man is that he can't understand his essence.
Socratic, in its essence is man's essence.
Nobody can understand the essence, either this is the Aristotelic first essence, empirical, or the Platonic idea.

I have just finished not only the drawings of the early Christian symbols, which there are in Phtiotidai Thebai, a city of Late Antiquity in Thessaly,
but also a first historical and theological interpretation of them. I mean I didn't stay on the archaeological description only. The elaboration of the symbols here in Deviant Art is partly digital. I chose fifteen symbols, representative of the early Christian era. I must say I enjoyed working on these representations of the divine, which make me taste the flavour of another time, another epoch, of other people with their special concerns and feelings.
